Letter to the Editor: Congrats on The Courier

Dear Editor

Just a note to congratulate you on the new Courier edition. I was so impressed with the WWII vets story being just one year younger than him. I much remember those days having several brothers and uncles serving in WWII.

I also read the coffee brewing story in St. Stephen and wish her good luck. I have lived on Campobello since I was 17. I came to visit my aunt, I didn’t plan on staying that long but then I met a boy who became my husband for 63 years. As of now, I am able to live in my own home and take care of myself. I spend evenings in my favourite chair overlooking the Bay of Fundy, looking at the lights on Deer Island.

I am looking forward to the next edition of the Courier and wishing you much success.

Bernie Newman
