Vicki Hogarth is the News Director at CHCO-TV and a national award-winning journalist. Her work has been featured in Reader’s Digest, The Guardian, Flare, The Globe and Mail, enRoute Magazine, and Vice, as well as in programming for the W Network. A former magazine editor in Toronto and Montreal, she holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from McGill University where she was on the Dean’s List. Since returning to her hometown of Saint Andrews, Vicki has been dedicated to making local news accessible, recognizing its vital role in strengthening and sustaining democracy.
Nathalie Sturgeon is CHCO TV’s senior producer and journalist. She joined the team in August 2024 and was formerly a digital broadcast journalist with Global News in New Brunswick. She has past experience as the editor of the Kings County Record in Sussex, N.B. She is from White Rapids, New Brunswick, just outside of Miramichi. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism from St. Thomas University in Fredericton. Nathalie is a strong supporter of local and community news — and hopes to tell the most important stories for the people of Charlotte County and beyond.
Florence Mitchell is senior technical producer and journalist for CHCO TV. She joined the team after earning a BSc in Electrical Engineering at UNB Fredericton and a brief career in IT. After getting her first camcorder at the age of 11 and starting a YouTube channel at age 14, she developed her videography and editing skills through personal and volunteer endeavours before joining CHCO in 2020.
Patrick Watt has been a driving force in community television for nearly four decades. He began his career in 1986 with Fundy Cable in Fredericton and later honed his skills at Algonquin College, gaining experience at Maclean-Hunter Cable 22 and ITV Algonquin College. Upon returning to Fredericton, he worked at Fundy Cable and later at Rogers. In 2006, Patrick played a pivotal role in helping CHCO-TV get its broadcast license to become New Brunswick’s first independent community broadcasting station. As station manager, he continues to lead CHCO-TV in producing local content that represents the voices of Southwest New Brunswick and reinforces the vital role of media in supporting a healthy democracy.
