Boil water order lifted in St. Stephen

The boil water order in St. Stephen has been lifted after more than a week.

It was issued on Dec. 29 after localized flooding in the well site area caused by a downed tree and an ice jam.

Turbidity levels rose in the water through the system, prompting the municipality to issue the order. It is the second boil-water order issued in St. Stephen in the last 10 months.
