Kenneth (Ken) Victor Hanson
November 16, 1938 – July 5, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Victor Hanson, who passed on Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Calgary, AB. Ken was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He was married to Sharon Hanson for 61 wonderful years. Together they shared a lifetime of love, devotion, laughter, and unwavering commitment, building a home filled with kindness, strength, and cherished memories that will live on forever.
Ken was a proud and loving father to his sons, Karl, Joseph, and Frank; and his daughter, Catherine. His family was his greatest joy, and he was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather whose love, guidance, and gentle presence will continue to be felt by generations to come.
Ken was loved and adored by all who knew him. He will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude by his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Ken was predeceased by his father, Cyril; his mother, Muriel; and his sister, Carol. While they are gone from this world, we take comfort in knowing they are together once again.
Though our hearts are filled with sadness, they are also filled with gratitude for the incredible life Ken lived and the love he gave so freely. His memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration, and his legacy will continue through the family he loved so deeply.
Rest in peace, Ken. We love you forever. You will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts.
