RCMP probe break-in, theft at St. Stephen convenience store

A convenience store in downtown St. Stephen has been the victim of an early morning break-in and theft.

RCMP were called to Miss D’s Convenience on Milltown Boulevard shortly before 4 a.m. Monday.

Staff Sgt. Geoff Peters told our newsroom the break-in is believed to have happened earlier in the morning.

Peters said two people wearing masks forced their way inside by breaking a window with a brick.

The suspects made off with a quantity of lottery tickets and cigarettes, he said.

No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
