RCMP seek help on theft from Saint Andrews wharf

RCMP in Saint Andrews are asking for the public’s help following a theft at the wharf on King Street.

Police believe it happened on June 11 between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.

“An individual arrived at the wharf on foot and stole a boat motor, gas tanks, paddles, and two dinghy boats,” the release said.

RCMP said they are releasing surveillance footage photos, despite the quality, in the hope that the public may recognize the individual.

“The individual is described as a man with a medium build who was wearing a green or brown jacket with a black hooded sweater underneath, black pants, a ball cap, gloves, and black shoes at the time of the theft.”

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photos, or who may have information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the St. Andrews RCMP at 506-755-1130. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1 (800)-222-8477, by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at
